Get Up Speak Up

Hello all,

I named this site GUSU…if you haven’t figured it out yet, because its an acronym for Get Up Speak, Get Up Stand Up and Get Up Stay Up. In that order. Clearly I don’t work in advertising, but I still like it. We’re in the Get Up Speak Up stage in the process, and there a re just a few days left (for this effort) to do just that.

Rep. Huntley has dropped his House Budget without our Bill and after hearing testimony at the Capitol today, without a lot of others as well. The budget targets were well under what many expected. Sen. Lourey has yet to drop his Senate Budget, so we need to let him know that we need to be in there. If he includes us, we have a chance at negotiating our inclusion on the House side.

Please send a message to Sen. Lourey and the Health and Human Services Finance Committee members, and a message to Gov. Dayton here I suspect that the trouble some of you might have had with getting your message to work on the Governor’s contact form had to do with copy/paste. I think the form refuses that function to minimize spam, so please type in a message….could be the one below or whatever you choose to write. Thanks for putting up with my nuisance messages, but we need your help…we’ve come so far!

Please include SF111 the Jablonski Rodreick Bill in your budget, we’re counting on you!

Julie A. Rosen (23, R)
